The Veil is Off

What I have been carrying and why it is time

Oluwatosin AdebiyiQuantity Surveyor · Writer

Dearest gentle reader,

I have played with words through my pen for as long as I can remember.

But a striking moment was when I was 7. As I studied for my common entrance exams, I took my pen yet again to write — this time not solving mathematical questions, but a story. A story about love, pain, and shame. I didn’t know who I was writing to or what it was, but I wrote.

By the time my dad came to check on me, expecting that his daughter had solved 100 Ugo z Ugo questions, there sat his young daughter finishing her first-ever story piece.

It dawned on my dad that he needed to get me a tutor.

It dawned on me that I had a gift I must treasure — one I would use to change the world with my pen.

Years later, I wrote and wrote and wrote. I had several hurdles along the way, several discouragements. But I still wrote. And although it blessed many lives and led many to the Lord, I felt it was time to take it a notch higher.

One evening, as I walked through my hostel gates, Acts 1:8 brooded deeply in my spirit. Then I heard the name —

WorshipWrites.

You write from a place of worship and surrender.

It dawned on me — this is more than a hobby. This is MINISTRY.

Along the way, I lost my mom. A season I had to heal from. But now I am ready to pull the veil off and push this to the world as the Lord will teach me.

It is time for WorshipWrites to emerge.

A space for letters and heartfelt stories that shine light on the path of the lost, to the end that they are found — and that help the found find their way around.

Welcome to WorshipWrites. Be blessed as you follow us. 🌹

Acts 1:8

Till I write again,

Worshipwrites🌹
